A heart, a life, a cure
What causes heart problems? Young and old people alike have been keen on the effects of heart problems mostly leading to stroke, disability of immobility, even death. We know of the heart as a concept of biological lifeworks affecting the brain, blood flow and other functions of human overall body system. The context of the heart continuously contracting, pumping and relaxing warrants constant supply of oxygen carrying blood and nutrients. The presence of cholesterol plaque which was found to accumulate through the years will successfully block the flow in the coronary artery. This is turn will deprive the heart of its vital requirement.Lately people have realized the importance of looking to the effects of high cholesterol and diet but it seems not to work on a lot of adults anymore. Are we coming in to the theory of starting life, in its literal meaning, at a very early age of pre teens like the age of ten to twelve? Finding difficulties in controlling the disease implies human inte lligence inability to create appropriate interventions. This paper seeks to recommend early age intervention as appropriate part solution at a macro level of the problem. Letââ¬â¢s take a look with the cause of heart system failures.Cholesterol plaque is seen to be increased by smoking, fatty foods, inactivity, high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels. The five causes are notably common and are expected to affect people in as early as the age of thirty.Cholesterol build up may not be detected immediately since it is slow and accumulates over years. Cholesterol plaque grows and merged with other cholesterol plaques that has infiltrated through the walls of the artery through the years. Plaque rupture and heart attacks structural damage are irreversible and shall be noted and understood by every human being on this planet.Smoking reflects social habits, social classification, and produces layers of platelets that progresses to thrombosis or blood clots resulting to rapid inc rease of heart rate (Schneider 2006).High blood pressure is the common product of stress generated psychosocial factors of anger, hostility, depression, work overload, and anxiety. Cholesterol rich diet more in saturated fat increases cholesterol levels.Dissecting each of the causes and realizing the effects on controlling over intake in an adult will make us understand that doctors may just be generating prescriptions to extend life and sustain the heart but not intervention. Intervention in an adult stage where cholesterol plaques were already accumulated and have been affecting heart beats is a matter of superficial medical practice.Analysis will show that man as intelligent as he is cannot prevent the onset of cholesterol deposits which immaturity and childhood practices of more saturated fats intake have been made a fad for children and youth. Diet and practices before teens are simply irresistible and uncontrollable where parents commonly regard it as an approved or agreeable food habits. In the life of a person, please take note where you eat most of the donââ¬â¢ts and you will see that it is in the pre teens. This is the age where cholesterol intake interventions shall be properly managed and controlled. The psychosocial conditions of stress and smoking in both adult and young people are always present no matter how hard the government seeks to control economics and environment. The heart disease effect is one sure thing which a general prescription to sustain blood flow can be generated to extend life but the attempt to make interventions on the psychosocial factors of stress and smoking points to a lot of relevant network of sub problems and headaches.Everything refers to a change in the menu, availability of the food, corresponding budget, and a whole lot of factors covering human interaction and stress. Research has not even started to perfect the failing conditions of family life and failing government strategies. These are the contributing fact ors of mankindââ¬â¢s failure to decrease heart illness death rates. The only option available is treatment of emergencies and prolonging life. That is our reality and it still is not changing.

Secrets (Speech)
Right now there are over 7 billion people in the world who are lying and keeping secrets the average person has kept or is still keeping at least over 100 and in a world of over 7 billion people that is a lot of secrets and lies people are keeping or telling people often ask ââ¬Å"why do people keep secrets? there are 3 main reasons people do; the first one is the fear of being rejected, people dont want to face the feeling of being rejected by the person it is just an awful feeling to have two is that people want to keep the peace they dont want to hurt each other by telling them something they dont want to hear. And the last one is that people donââ¬â¢t want to be confronted by whatever they did Secrets and lies are very closely linked to each other the person is keeping the secret because instead they lied. When you lie you are just creating problems for yourself because then you are going to have to remember what you said and the fact that you are telling a lie means you are k eeping a secret from someone When it comes to ââ¬Ëlyingââ¬â¢ there are different types like remember when your parents told you about ââ¬Ëfarther Christmasââ¬â¢ or the ââ¬Ëtooth fairyââ¬â¢ they were telling white lies to let you have a child hood but they knew one day you were going to find out then your life would be crushed but only for a little while. But then you get people who lie about serious stuff like stealing something or not doing homework or telling your mom you feel violently ill just to miss something you donââ¬â¢t want to go to or even worse stealing her money to buy those cute shoes you saw at the shops. And this isnââ¬â¢t just that rare one person who lies and tells secrets itââ¬â¢s mainly all of us everyone has at least told a lie or kept a secret and it wonââ¬â¢t just be one it will be quite a bit more than that But why canââ¬â¢t we all just be honest and tell the truth its less things to remember and less things to try forget? Simpl e you canââ¬â¢t everyone will lie society is a cruel place and there will never not be secrets or lies and if you say you havenââ¬â¢t ever kept a secret or told a lieâ⬠¦ stop lying to yourselfâ⬠¦ because you probably have everyone has.

The Theory Of Management Is Important Part Of Any Business...
Management is arguably the most important part of any business or organisation. Without successful management any organisation will struggle to succeed in todayââ¬â¢s competitive business world. But what is the best approach for managers to take? How can employers use the idea of motivation within their management approach, to achieve a true competitive advantage? From the moment that the labour shortage hit the United States of America, during the industrial revolution, back in the early 1900s, theorists around the world have been attempting to answer this very question. With the two main ideas being the classical perspective and the behavioural approach, there are a number of key differences between the approaches that managers should all be aware of. The behavioural perspective is also believed to have addressed some of the criticisms that the scientific approach, a subfield of the classical perspective has received. The earliest study into management began with the classical perspective. Developed in the early 1900ââ¬â¢s the classical perspective ââ¬Å"emphasised a rational, scientific approachâ⬠(Samson, Catley, Cathro, Daft, 2012, p. 54) thatââ¬â¢s main objective was to help increase productivity of workers. The classical approach is a very structured, un-personalised perspective, with little thought into the less mathematical needs a workforce. The three management approaches that it includes are scientific management, bureaucratic organisations and administrative principles.Show MoreRelatedOperations Management Paper1329 Words à |à 6 Pagesto the Field of Management NAME Amberton University Operations Management MGT5203.E1 Teacher June 13, 2011 MGT5203 Assignment 1 - Contributions to the Field of Management What is operations management? Edna St. Vincent Millays My Candle Burns at Both Ends
When award-winning poetà Edna St. Vincent Millayà died of a heart attack on Oct. 19, 1950, the New York Times noted that she was well known for crafting a poem that ended my candle burns at both ends. The newspaper of record pointed out that critics viewed the line of verse as frivolous, but that hadnt stopped Millay from surfacing as an idol of the younger generation during the 1920s. Today, the poet,à born on Feb.à 22, 1892, is no longer an idol to youth, but her poetry is widely taught in schools.à She remains an inspiration to both feminists and the LGBT community. With this brief overview of Millays frivolous work, First Fig, the poem in which the candle line appears, get a better understanding of the verses context and its reception after it was published. Text of First Fig First Fig appeared in Millays poetry collectionà A Few Figs from Thistles: Poems and Fourà Sonnets, which debuted inà 1920. It was just the young poets second collection of poems. Her first, Renascence: and other poems, came out three years earlier.à The critics who dismissed First Fig had no idea that Millay would go on to win the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1923 forà The Ballad of the Harp Weaver. She was only the third woman to win the Pulitzer in the poetry category. Perhaps because First Fig was just a single stanza, it was easily memorized and came to be the work with which Millay is most associated. The poem is as follows: My candle burns at both endsIt will not last the night; But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends -It gives a lovely light. First Fig Analysis and Reception Because First Fig is such a short poem, its easy to think that theres not much to it, but that isnt the case. Think about what it means to have a candle that burns at both ends. Such a candle burns twice as fast as other candles.à Then, think about what a candle may represent. It could symbolize Millays erotic passions, giving the poem an entirely different context. Someone whose desires burn out twice as quickly as anothers may not make for a longtime love but is certainly more passionate than the average mate. According to the Poetry Foundation,à A Few Figs from Thistles cemented Millays reputation ofà madcap youth and rebellion, provoking the disapproval of critics. The collection is known for its à flippancy, cynicism and frankness, the foundation notes. More Work by Millay While Millay made a name for herself with Figs, critics seem to think that her next poetry collection,à Second Aprilà (1921), is a better reflection of her skills as a poet. The volume contains both free verse and sonnets, which Millay excelled at as a poet.

Evaluation Of A Team Training Program - 1516 Words
If I were the coach of a softball team and had to formulate a pre-season, in-season, and post-season work out program I would start by making a list for each to stay on track. For pre-season, things I would bullet point would be; running, weight training, skill specific sessions and learning strategies. Next would be for in-season practices and this is going to be my maintenance phase. Last is the post-season part that is focusing on getting ready for the next year so I would bullet point these topics; weight training, running, skill specific practices, and leave room for participation in other sports as well. A pre-season training program should start 8-12 weeks prior to the first competition date (Powers 2012). This part of the season is to increase energy systems used in this particular sport to their maximum potential. With my softball team in a pre-season session, I would start with weight training and running to increase each individual playerââ¬â¢s strength and endurance. S trength and endurance training should be done on alternating days to optimize strength gains but can be done together depending on what the coach is trying to accomplish. According to Powers, if these two types of training are done together, there may be a lower gain in strength than with only strength training itself. Things that I would like to do for endurance with softball players would be home to outfield sprints with walk back recoveries about 8 to 10 times with 3 sets of high knee drills for 20Show MoreRelatedCareer Development Plan Summary1639 Words à |à 7 Pagesassume additional responsibilities but also initiate the hiring of additional team members. Corporate Financial Assignment
Question: Describe about the internal rate of return. Answer: Internal rate of return is superior to the Average rate of return in following ways; Under Internal rate of return, the net percentage of profit is zero or it is almost ignored since the cost of investment is weighted by the benefits that one derives from the investment. Under the Average rate of return, the actual value of the profit is represented in percentage for each of the dollars invested is taken in to the account. It is also noted that under Internal rate of return all gains that one derives are inherent to the value of money that one invests whereas under the average rate of return time factor is not taken account. Comparative study of NPV and IRR: Every organization is faced with the dilemma of making a choice between the projects. Net present value and the internal rate of return are two of the most common parameters which is the most common parameters used in the certain projects as both the criterion give contradictory outcome. This means that if one considers the NPV method but on the other side the same time IRR method favors another project. One of the advantages of NPV is that it is expressed as absolute terms while IRR is expressed in percentage terms. On the other hand, NPV makes the process of decision making easy while IRR does not offer the ease of decision-making. Variation in the outflow of cash will not effect the NPV while under IRR it variation in the cash flow will either show multiple or negative reflections. The purpose of NPV is to determine the surplus from the investment made in the project on the other hand IRR represents the state of neither profit nor loss. Conclusion: The report is prepared in accordance with the accounting principle and therefore, all the figures represent true and fair view of investment in equipment. A comparative study shows that IRR and NPV is more useful tool than the ARR and the pay back period. It is advisable for the management to retain the old equipment rather than investing in new equipment since the profitability index and the sensitivity analysis shows that old equipment is beneficial for the organization than investing in new equipment.
